Training for Voluntary/Community

All organisations with children and families are responsible for ensuring that their staff and volunteers are confident and competant in carrying out their responsibilities for safeguarding children. Staff should have access to appropriate development oportunites to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to abuse and neglect.
