Learning Reviews

Learning reviews are reflective evaluations of safeguarding cases where a child was harmed or at risk, with the aim of understanding what went wrong and what could be improved. They highlight key lessons for professionals across all agencies to strengthen future practice. By sharing findings openly, they promote accountability and continuous improvement in protecting children.

Practice Resources

Practice Resources build on the learning highlighted in our Practitioner Briefings, exploring specific topics or themes in greater depth. These tools are designed to strengthen professional understanding, support consistent practice across agencies, and help embed key learning into everyday work with children and families. They offer practical guidance that frontline staff can use to apply insights directly to their roles.
