This section of the website provides information and guidance for professionals from any organisation or agency who work or volunteer with children or families.

Everything we do at the IOWSCP is under pinned by two key principles:

  • Safeguarding is everybody‚Äôs responsibility - for services to be effective each professional and organisation should play their full part
  • A child centred approach - for services to be effective they should be based on a clear understanding of the needs and views of the individual children whilst recognising the support parents and carers may require

To report child welfare or safeguarding concerns please complete the Inter-Agency Referral Form (IARF). This is the most effective way of referring.
